Hello Everyone, I'm Kim. A little about me. I was born and raised in Pgh, PA. I currently live in sunny Florida. I have been in the education field for almost 20 years now. I was a owner/director of a early childcare center for several years before moving to Florida. The first year in Florida I was a stay at home mom. It was interesting but definitely not what I was use too. Therefore, I started working part-time in an upscale early childhood education center. This was a different experience for me because I was now the employee and not the employer. While working I decided to return back to school and get my teaching degree. Teaching has always been my passion, so when the opportunity came knocking I was ready. Being a single mom of five, it wasn't easy but it was worth it. I have been teaching now as a certified k-6 teacher for three years. I still enjoy it. I enjoy teaching others how to become life long learners. Explaining to them the the what and whys not just the "do". I choose kindergarten because it is the building blocks of their learning foundation.
